I hope to use this blog as a daily record of Papa, Jesus and Holy Spirit's daily interventions in my life. They are quite daily! I don't want to travel backward, but present; not future, just today. May my every entry be clear.

40 days of encounter journal
Bethel Church is doing a 40 days of encounter, which began just before Thanksgiving Day. I began this encounter after reading James Goll's book. Bethel is doing it according to James Goll's book as well. I like having others to do this with. Papa loves family efforts :) I noticed an increased awareness of details in my encounters. Neat :) Let's see if I can remember to record my encounters here.

I can feel vividly Papa's presence on me these days. Last night You taught me things while I was wakeful. I'm trying to remember them today, but all I get is more of Your vivid presence.
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that the background for this blog is similar artistically to the painting on the wall opposite me now. I chose it from a bunch of mounted prints at Ross For Less a couple of months ago. No wonder the print felt right for my living room! That's a detail for you! My encounters promotion from this computer screen and blog to outside of it and into my livingroom. Promotion is good :)

ReplyDeleteContentedness. No matter what others' whirlwinds come near and touch me, I remain content. I discern their chaos and am honored to pray. The idea that Papa loves me to center down with Him is still incomprehensible to me. I believe it by faith, for it is written as so in His Word. When I recall it, peace covers me and I feel His arms wrap around me. I comprehend my Papa :)
ReplyDeleteMy friend's unborn child went to be with Jesus this week. I was suddenly in extremely intense mourning with her and her husband. That's the job. Intercession. I could do nothing else. I was privileged and honored to carry them in prayer. It lasted about 12 hours. After that, I lifted them up to Heaven and the burden of prayer was done. Thanks for including me, Papa.
ReplyDeleteDeep REM sleep, deep naps, late mornings for me this month. Deep prayer, multiplexing intercessory prayer with readying for Christmas; special diet, gratefulness lingering leftovers from Thanksgiving. Jesus Messiah, son of God, it's your birthday! How I love the holidays!
ReplyDeleteThe tree is trimmed, the exhaustion from decorating and shopping is in, and now, so close to the Day, I just want to center down. Deep calls to deep. I sit at Papa's feet. My King. My Father.

ReplyDeleteMy head is in the verses for the 40 days of encounter. James Goll knows how to pick them. When I'm filled up with the Word, I bubble over, and sharing my heart's happiness just flows from me. There is no labor in anything when filled up with Papa's truth. His answers to our many questions are always Holy Spirit given. It is the only way we can receive them. The only way we can receive them is after searching wholeheartedly for them. Papa knows not to waste a moment on anyone not in that place of searching for Him.
